As an integral part of our Physical Distribution department, the Planning & Scheduling team ensures the seamless flow of operations across the warehouse
The main objective as a Warehouse planner will be to create an efficient, accurate and timely pick planning within our Warehouse Management Systems to enhance Warehouse Operations (in different warehouses) in delivering goods on time in full. Your key responsibility is to ensure a smooth and coordinated flow of outgoing demand lines while considering the day-to-day fluctuations in the business.
You will be teamed up with other Warehouse Planners, working closely together and reporting directly to the Supervisor Planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creation and delivery of a daily pick planning, following the correct timelines of shipment schedules.
- Optimizing and adjusting the daily pick planning based on capacity, stock levels and unforeseen circumstances.
- Monitor real-time data within the Warehouse Management System to identify bottlenecks or delays in the picking process, and proactively resolve/flag these issues.
- Coordinate closely with other departments to ensure that picked items are handled efficiently and promptly moved through the Warehouse Operations process.
- Contributing to the set-up of a new department within Physical Distribution.
- Continuously improve quality and delivery performance on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

We seek a dynamic person with excellent teamwork skills, who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and is always looking for the best solution in any given situation:
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively to different audiences.
- Having experience within Logistical environments is a must, planning experience is a plus.
- JDE / LOCUS experience is a plus.
- MBO3/4 degree or equivalent level of work and thinking.
- Knowledge of WMS systems and Microsoft Office.
- Showing initiative, willingness to learn
- Stress resilient and result driven, able to work under pressure in an always changing environment.
