In this role, you’ll navigate complex technical landscapes, working with a diverse set of tools and technologies to drive automation, deployment, and system reliability.
Your expertise in Linux and Bash scripting will be crucial for managing system operations, automating tasks, and optimizing performance. With a solid background in Matlab, Julia, and Python, you’ll tackle data-driven challenges, develop algorithms, and contribute to the development of robust software solutions.
Understanding Single Page Application (SPA) and Modular Architecture (MA) is essential, as you’ll work with these principles to design scalable, maintainable, and high-performing applications. You’ll be deeply involved in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and repositories, ensuring smooth code integration and efficient deployment workflows.
Your experience with Docker and Kubernetes (k8s) will be invaluable in managing containerized applications, orchestrating services, and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure. Whether working in Virtual Cloud Platforms (VCP), Local Cloud Platforms (LCP), or Google Cloud Platform (GCP), you’ll have the opportunity to leverage cloud technologies to enhance scalability, security, and performance.
This role is all about problem-solving, innovation, and continuous improvement—ensuring that systems are not only functional but also resilient and future-proof.
DevOps Tasks
- Create and maintain automated build & deployment pipelines
- Be able to handle a variety of programming languages, e.g., Java, Python
- Handle the unique security challenges of our cloud-based solution
- Contributing to documentation of our application framework
Ops Activities
- Act as a front line towards the customer needs
- Investigate user complaints
- Propose containment and permanent solutions, with the help of the team, when required
- Track and document the inquiries, progress, and resolution in issue management tools (i.e., JIRA, AIR)
