Project Quality Engineer - Howden Thomassen Compressors B.V.

• Ensuring of compliance of quality for project with reference with related Quality plan. Means review and approval process for necessary document and test reports for all defined goods and processes in Quality plan
• Ensure that the project proceeds in accordance with the agreed –standard & project-specific- processes & escalation if necessary.
• Monitoring of project’s steps at supplier and HTC for compliance of quality with reference with Quality plan.
• Ensuring Participation to inspection activities at supplier site if necessary.
• Weekly reporting to Quality Manager regarding ongoing project. Problematic topics and risk assessment based remarks should been shared on time.
• Necessary monitoring and information sharing with senior PQEs and Quality Manager In case of noncompliance for product or process related with project for on time solution.
• Inspection activities and reporting for MR and FAT of projects. In case of noncompliance, necessary monitoring and information sharing with Senior PQEs and Quality Manager.
• Active role for control activities for compliance of project MDR.
• On time ( before one week ) information sharing with Quality assurance assistant for planning internal and/or 3rd party inspector arrangement for Quality plan tests related with project.
• Review and approval of inspection reports (after 2 days )which held by internal and external inspectors. These inspections are Hydrostatic tests, Pressure tests, Pre-packing test, Final test.
• Involvement for quality improvement activities with guidance Quality manager.
• Assist operations team (planning and shop) in tracking, documenting, and reporting for defined quality compliance for ensuring Integrated Management (Quality, HSE and Environmental) goals and shared KPIs.
• Communication with relevant departments to develop improvement and/or resolve matters within area of responsibility
• Involvement in evaluations & lessons learned ie reporting and monitoring & control of corrective actions by process owners.
• Active support and participation in quotation teams during the offer phase and in project teams in the project kick-off and during the realization phase of orders.
• Active involvement for continues improvement studies with customer voice and complaints monitoring program for each project.
• Ensuring the preparation of order-related QCPs / IPs; based on customer specifications and HTC standards
• Support for the engineering process (e.g., support for design reviews, review of engineering documents, preparation of test procedures and reports).
• Coordinate the management and communication with 3rd parties and the Certification Bodies (Lloyds BV, TUV etc.) for the certification or classification of systems and equipment for projects.
• Plan, coordinate and oversee the interpretation and use of the applicable standards, rules & regulations and legal requirements in quotation and project teams.
• Support for the supplier quality management process, by means of pre-manufacturing and inspection meetings, for quality inspections and / or factory acceptance tests of goods and materials, for the evaluation of deviations, etc. both at external suppliers and at the supplying companies.
• Establishing and improvement of Project Quality Documentation.

Knowledge & experience

• Bachelor degree with in addition 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar role;
• Technically skilled and interested by education or work experience;
• Basic knowledge of compressors;
• Basic knowledge on welding, NDE-testing is highly preferred;
• Problem identification and solution methods: RCA, 8D, FMEA, Pareto analyses;
• International standards (of O&G) and ISO 9001, 45001, 14001
• Risk Management and Statistical Process Control knowledge
• Control Plan generation.
