Als Print Process Quality Engineer (Medical) werk je aan de uitbreiding van medische toepassingen binnen additive manufacturing (zoals dentale implantologie). Je hebt een leidende rol in het ontwikkelen, aanscherpen en valideren van printprocessen die gebruikt worden voor het produceren van medische hulpmiddelen zoals boormallen, kronen en splints op basis van UV-inkt en acrylaatchemie.
Je schakelt direct met het R&D-team en bent verantwoordelijk voor het opstellen en reviewen van specificaties, het ontwikkelen van testplannen en het uitvoeren van verificatietesten. Je stelt kritische vragen, bewaakt de kwaliteit en weet feilloos de brug te slaan tussen klantwensen en technische uitvoering.
Wat je concreet gaat doen:
- Ondersteunen van R&D in verificatie van prototypes en nieuwe producten
- Opstellen en reviewen van technische specificaties en requirements
- Meedenken over en uitvoeren van testplannen en validaties
- Bepalen of bestaande meetmethoden toepasbaar zijn of dat nieuwe ontwikkeld moeten worden
- Kwaliteitsborging gedurende de gehele ontwikkelcyclus
- Signaleren van medische richtlijnen en deze vertalen naar productvereisten
- Fungeren als stevige sparringpartner binnen een multidisciplinair en internationaal team
Deze functie kent een sterke afwisseling tussen deskwork (analyses en documentatie) en hands-on werk in het lab (testopstellingen, validaties en verificaties).
Onze opdrachtgever is een toonaangevende speler in de medische printtechnologie. Binnen de organisatie werk je in een divers en internationaal team bestaande uit professionals met uiteenlopende achtergronden (hbo, wo en PhD). De voertaal is Engels en het kennisniveau is hoog, met een sterke focus op samenwerking en innovatie. Je wordt gekoppeld aan een buddy uit de kwaliteitsafdeling voor een goed inwerktraject, terwijl je parallel meedraait in het projectteam.
- Fulltime (40 uur) of parttime (minimaal 32 uur met vaste vrije dag)
- Werkplek in de regio Venlo, fysiek aanwezig zijn is belangrijk, thuiswerken is niet gewenst
- Deta-vast constructie via YER: detachering met uitzicht op een vast dienstverband bij de opdrachtgever
- Uitdagende rol met veel vrijheid en verantwoordelijkheid
- Internationale en multidisciplinaire werkomgeving
- Marktconform salaris en aantrekkelijke secundaire voorwaarden
We zoeken een doortastende engineer met:
- Een afgeronde masteropleiding in natuurkunde, chemie, materiaalkunde of vergelijkbaar
- Minimaal 2 tot 5 jaar relevante werkervaring (starters komen niet in aanmerking)
- Ervaring in productontwikkeling binnen een technische omgeving
- Affiniteit met medische productontwikkeling is een grote pre
- Sterke analytische vaardigheden en een “outside-in” mindset
- Vermogen om zelfstandig te opereren en kritisch te zijn op kwaliteit
- Hands-on mentaliteit: je bent niet bang om zelf de labjas aan te trekken
- Goede communicatievaardigheden in het Engels (zowel mondeling als schriftelijk)
- Werkvergunning voor Nederland
