Site Reliability Engineer
In this role as a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), you will be responsible for improving the reliability, performance, and availability of applications and infrastructure. You will implement monitoring solutions, automate operational processes, and work closely with development teams to ensure system stability. The goal is to build robust and reliable applications through advanced monitoring, automation, and incident management.
Key Responsibilities- Monitoring & Incident Management: Set up monitoring tools and define service level indicators (SLIs) and service level objectives (SLOs). Implement automated incident detection and self-healing systems.
- Automation: Automate operational processes and improve the efficiency of CI/CD pipelines. Integrate Monitoring as Code (MONACO) into development workflows.
- Collaboration with Teams: Work closely with development and infrastructure teams to ensure optimal system performance and processes.
- Performance Optimization: Enhance the performance and reliability of applications through advanced performance tuning and system monitoring.
- Education & Best Practices: Provide guidance and support to development teams on monitoring, automation, and best practices within the organization.

- Salary range: €5,750 – €6,900
- Hybrid work environment, with two flexible work-from-home days per week
- Nine additional leave days (ADV) per year
- Full reimbursement of travel expenses

- Approximately 5 years of experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, such as Terraform, Ansible, or Pulumi
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation, such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins
- Programming skills in Python, Go, Bash, or PowerShell
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
- Experience with logging, distributed tracing, and incident management
- Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to troubleshooting
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, or other container technologies is a plus
To be eligible for this role, you must live in the Netherlands and be authorized to work in the country.
