About this vacancy

Do you want to play an essential role in IKEA's journey to transparency around sustainability topics? Are you a specialist in non-financial reporting following CSRD and the ESRS in a large (international) company? Then this is your chance of a lifetime!

In the role of ESG Reporting Leader at Inter IKEA Group, you are responsible for non-financial reporting following CSRD. It's a new, hands-on role in which you report to the Group Control & Reporting Manager.

Your entry point is one in which a framework is set up, but you can do the finetuning. In this role, you develop, implement and improve the Inter IKEA Group ESG reporting framework, including existing policies and manuals. You also identify opportunities for improvement in routines for group- as well as local reporting processes. You oversee the development and maintenance of relevant ESG ‘master data’, such as applied definitions and methodologies.

Of course, you stay up to date on the latest developments on the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) and EU Taxonomy requirements and incorporate these in the reporting methods and manuals. You are responsible for sharing this knowledge with all relevant stakeholders, supporting them in compliance.

In short, you are the center of expertise on ESRS, EU Taxonomy, and the Inter IKEA Group ESG reporting framework. You lead the ESG reporting process for the Inter IKEA Group Annual Report, securing a timely and reliable reporting. This includes coordinating the external audit. In the future, reporting will be extended to the Inter IKEA Group monthly managerial report.

Inter IKEA Group is the group of companies that connects IKEA franchisees with range development and suppliers and aligns the overall IKEA strategic direction. All to create a better everyday life for the many people.

The Group consists of three core businesses: Retail Concept, Range and Supply. The three core businesses work together with franchisees and suppliers to co-create an even better IKEA offer and franchise system. Inter IKEA Group aims to provide the best possible conditions for implementing and operating the IKEA Concept, and to create a strong platform for growth.

The vibrant culture of IKEA secures an environment where ideas are heard and there is an opportunity to learn new skills. Employees are given the possibility to grow, both as individuals and in their professional roles. It’s a truly global environment with many challenges and development opportunities.
