Join the systems organization and drive the growth of the organization and its successful system propositions.
You will play an important role in the further development of the milk and cream foaming appliances. By knowing both the technical opportunities as well as the customer and consumer demands, together with marketing, procurement and supply chain you bring unique fitting integrated packaging and dispensing appliance concepts to the market. You are involved from concept development until implementation in the market.
As Lead Engineer for our system development projects, you will make sure that newly developed foaming technologies and other appliance innovations will be integrated in new appliances. Close cooperation with appliance development partners by making a strong connection is an important asset.
Next to that, running challenging packaging development projects will also be part of the job.
- Creates together with marketing, innovation the next generation of Systems products.
- Steers innovation-focused projects. Orchestrates cross-functional collaboration, seamlessly merging design, engineering, and stakeholder input for integral solutions.
- Ensure project adherence to scope, timeline, and quality, manage resources and mitigate risks, guaranteeing timely and effective delivery of high-quality solutions.
- Drive advancements and coordinate multifunctional efforts to develop cutting-edge technical solutions, enhancing user experiences and elevating the competitive edge.
- Be the connector between the external manufacturing partners and FrieslandCampina’s internal system experts
- Manage and mitigate project risks

Expansion of our solutions business, in which the machine and product are closely related, is recognized as one of the levers to realize this ambition. A new Systems organization is formed to carry out this responsibility for launching, driving and supporting existing and new system solutions in the markets across the globe. This separate organization has been set up as a recognition that the way of working in such a solution/service organization is different from the standard (B2B)business in this company.Their solutions consist out of an appliance, product and a lock-in technology and are designed to solve specific customer pains across various channels and use moments.
- Available for 36-40 hours per week

- A Bachelor/Master degree, preferably in the area of System engineering or Mechanical engineering or Industral Design.
- Able to shape projects in a multidisciplinary team from concepts, sketches, business opportunities in to solid appliance concepts and designs.
- At least 10 years experience in leading the technical projects in a relevant multidisciplinary systems context with external partners. Proven track record in developing complex new products with electronical and mechanical components in the market, for either a B2C or a B2B environment.
- Leveraging expertise in systems engineering, mechanical design, and manufacturing processes to drive innovative concept development and deliver high-quality, manufacturable solution.
- You are able to motivate a multidisciplinary project team consisting of internal and external resources to successful results.
- Skilled in project management and co-operation skills with different levels, both within the organization and outside the organization
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skill. Ability to deal with ambiguity and stakeholder management
- Flexibility to travel regularly (20%)
