Team Leadership:
- Lead and coach the team of controllers, ensuring effective collaboration and development of team members.
Automation:
- Manage Adapto automation system KPI’s aimed at system availability, order processing time, order processing error rates and problem resolution time to ensure Service Level optimization.
Stakeholder management:
- Manage internal and external stakeholders to assure continuous flow of operational processes by ever increasing Adapto’s SLA.
Workflow Management:
- Manage and optimize workflow processes to ensure the most efficient operations within the distribution center.
Operational Coordination:
- Ensure a smooth daily logistics flow through effective collaboration with operational supervisors.
Data Analysis:
- Analyze operational data to identify trends and recommend improvements. Focus on conducting root cause analyses to effectively resolve issues.
Communication:
- Maintain clear communication with various departments to optimize collaboration and information exchange.
Process Improvement:
- Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Reporting:
- Prepare reports for management on operational performance and improvement initiatives.
- FootLocker, a leading player in the world of athletic lifestyle and athleisure shoes and clothing, recently entered into a strategic and long-term lease agreement with Nabuurs Beheer for a large-scale European distribution center.
- The distribution center, located along the A73 on the Laarakker business park in Haps, is an impressive ‘build to suit’ project consisting of approximately 33,380 m² of warehouse, mezzanine, and office space.
- This modern distribution center, designed and constructed by the renowned constructor Heembouw, will be a model of sustainability with a focus on nature conservation. It will be delivered with the BREEAM Very Good label, with completion scheduled for August 2024.
- The site, owned by the Nabuurs family since the 1990s and always used for logistical purposes, is currently undergoing a transformation. All old buildings have been demolished, and the construction of the new distribution center has officially begun.
- The new distribution center will be connected to an existing distribution center of 13,400 m² through three passageways. The existing center was completed in 2020 and is still in use by Nabuurs Logistiek. This adjacent building will also be utilized by FootLocker.
- From this state-of-the-art distribution center, FootLocker will serve its European customers using a fully automated order picking system. This enables FootLocker to efficiently and rapidly distribute its products and meet the growing demand in the market.

Job Requirements
- Education: HBO/WO in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a logistics role, preferably in a control tower or similar position, with team management experience
