Electrical Project Engineer

As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in designing the complete electrical installations for all our partner's products. Your responsibilities will include a range of tasks such as technical calculations, drawings, and designs. Leveraging your experience and ambition, you will be instrumental in transforming technical and project specifications into practical electrical system designs, thereby contributing to the success of the projects. You will collaborate closely with all other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration of all components. You will be an integral part of the project/product team in the Netherlands, necessitating intensive collaboration with your colleagues in the Netherlands and the UK. 

Our partner is a leading supplier and service provider of custom offshore cranes and equipment for the offshore and energy markets. From engineering to service and maintenance, the company manages the entire process in-house. Their clients are located worldwide, and they play an active role in the sustainability of technology and sustainable markets. The people form the core of their success. With a team of around a hundred professionals, the company operates from its office and workshop in the Netherlands and since 2019 from the UK regional office. This offers the opportunity to experience the entire process up close, from designing to building the cranes and equipment, which ensures an ultimate collaboration between all departments. • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field. A Professional Engineering Certification (CEng) is optional.
• Affinity with large mechanical systems, preferably with experience in designing cranes/systems.
• Experience in making electrical engineering design choices based on high-level specifications.
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
• Team player with a proactive attitude, a positively critical mindset, and a strong eagerness to learn.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
