Project Leader HVAC

Key Responsibilities:

As the Project Leader in Mechanical Production, you will serve as the primary point of contact for all sanitary installations aboard the yacht throughout its construction. You will be working in the top tier of yacht building, where the scale and complexity of the systems are rapidly increasing. From the moment Engineering finalizes the specifications, you will be responsible for leading the HVAC discipline project. You will coordinate project requirements, deadlines, and schedules, aligning them with your interdisciplinary team members from Hull, Interior, and Exterior departments.

You will oversee the entire project, carefully managing the schedule, budget, and progress. You will prepare status reports, project communication plans, and provide advice as needed. Additionally, you will lead the project team and coordinate production preparations, including verifying drawings, marking up on board, scheduling tasks, and ensuring the internal availability of materials. You will consider project risks, adhere to guidelines, and meet quality requirements. Continuous evaluation and adjustment of the projects will also be part of your role.

The Mechanical Production Department is responsible for the piping, installations, sanitation, and engine room setup. Alongside Shipbuilding Production, Interior Production, and Exterior Production, this department handles the actual outfitting of the yacht, which is done entirely at the yard. Throughout the entire process, from keel laying to sea trials, you will remain involved in the construction. The department is characterized by the freedom and space to perform tasks within defined parameters. You will work in a close-knit team with colleagues who are equally driven. Communication is direct, and the atmosphere is open and informal.

• Relevant HBO (Bachelor's) degree with 1-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in leading HVAC/Sanitary projects.
• Knowledge and skills in project management, planning, and control.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
• Experience in yacht or shipbuilding is a plus.
