Senior Project Buyer

• As a Senior Project Buyer, you play a key role within our dynamic project teams responsible for realizing our yachts.
• Oversee the entire supply chain process, ensuring alignment with the building schedule to achieve timely and high-quality supply in collaboration with suppliers and the project core team. Manage the assigned portion of the 125 procurement packages, involving 200 suppliers per yacht.
• Monitor supplier progress to ensure orders are executed accurately and on time.
• Address and resolve operational and contractual issues with suppliers in close cooperation with the Project Team.
• Identify potential bottlenecks (such as capacity or technology issues) and opportunities for innovation within the assigned package.
• Execute and ensure contract management with suppliers, including framework agreements and escalations, while supporting management and colleagues to secure the best possible deal.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with third parties, including co-makers and subcontractors.
• Work in close partnership with our co-makers, leveraging your expertise to identify and realize synergies based on mutual respect.

• Holding a university degree or higher vocational education with relevant work experience.
• Bringing 5-7 years of experience in the Netherlands, ideally within the maritime or yacht building industry.
• Strong in analytical thinking, teamwork, precision, and persuasiveness.
• Capable of maintaining a comprehensive view of the entire process.
• Proactive and adept at solving problems as they arise.
• A dedicated and enthusiastic professional with a passion for continuous learning.
• Proficient in MS Office applications and Navision.
• Fluent in both written and spoken English (and Dutch).
