Sr. Analyst Finance position

The Sr Analyst Fixed Assets will ensure to comply with operational activities and bookings for assets and leases for the entities that is responsible for. Among 3 to 5 legal entities will be assigned of the European Region, and Sr Analyst will ensure on real time to accurate the assets registers with the objective of having fair finantial statements and realistic subledgers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fixed Assets: process & record, direct / build up asset capitalization, itemization & depreciation calculation based on local requirements, IFRS & SABIC policy
  • Fixed Assets: Process & record asset adjustments, transfers, de-compensation, and disposal. Includes: Precious metals, capital spare revaluations and updates
  • Fixed Asset: Conduct asset physical verification and record surplus / shortage based on specialist / management direction
  • Lease: Process & record lease identification, classification (financial / operation lease), re-measurement, modification and termination. with periodic alignment to lease owner and GPS
  • Fixed Assets and Leases: Period end closing: perform preclosing and closing activities such as settlements, depreciation and amortization. Review the source data from other domains through the entire A2R and E2E processes
  • Fixed Assets and Leases: analyze the outcomes and book manual adjustments if needed
  • Fixed Assets and Leases: Create, change and close asset master data (FI-AA) & lease contract master data (FI-RFEX) and ensure accuracy internal & external to meet compliance requirements, timely update
  • Fixed Assets and Leases: Provide the required supporting document, clarification and support management to close internal & external audit observations / inquiries for asset & lease

  • Secondment via YER based on the excellent conditions at SABIC within their Collective Labor Agreement

Skills

  • SAP modules knowledgement (FICO, MM & PS)
  • Understanding of accounting treatment
  • Good quantitative and analytical skills
  • Good communication skills

Qualifications/Education

  • Bachelor/Master Degree preferably in Business Administration or Economics
  • Between 3-5 years experience in Finance departments
