In the role as an engineer in the endpoint squad, your work will be diverse. The day begins with a quick standup meeting to discuss and coordinate ongoing tasks. . They adhere to the Agile methodology and SCRUM framework within the team and the department. As a part of this role, you will be a key member of the IS/IT team. IS/IT is the driving force behind Thales’ digital transformation, maintaining a strong connection with the business.
Throughout the week, you will concentrate on the tasks that you and your squad are working on. As a domain expert, you will translate business requirements into functional solutions. You will play a key role in implementing and managing endpoint products, ensuring successful deployment. Ideally, you have experience in environments where security and standardization are paramount. You are capable of developing solutions and turning them into products ready for release.
You will be managing and supporting products such as:
- Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops;
- Citrix ADC (NetScaler);
- Ivanti Workspace Control;
- Windows 10/11;
- Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager;
- VMware Workspace One UEM.
Thales designs extremely modern radar systems and optical sensors that are part of a complete and integrated defense system. The product portfolio ranges from small portable radars for border or object surveillance, for example, to complex four-dimensional radars that can detect small objects at distances ranging from hundreds to thousands of kilometers.
They embark the Agile transformation journey a few years ago. As a learning organization, they fully adopt agile principles and aim for continuous improvement.
The team exists over 150 professionals that provides IS/IT support to our 3500 colleagues in the Netherlands across various Business Lines and functions. The IS/IT department collaborates closely with the international IS/IT departments within the Thales group.

We are looking for a new workplace engineer that:
- can quickly grasp new domains and techniques;
- has excellent communication skills;
- has experience with or is open to adopting the Agile methodology and SCRUM framework;
- relevant work experience, but we also welcome applications from young professionals;
- is fluent in Dutch and English;
- experience in a complex enterprise IT environment;
- experience with Enterprise migration projects
