Senior Electrical Integration Engineer

As a Senior Integration Engineer, every day is dynamic and filled with variety. You will primarily focus on specifying, designing, and integrating electrical systems within budgeted costs and according to schedules. At times, you will collaborate closely with clients to design installations. At other times, you will support the sales team in delivering the best technical and commercial solutions for our clients.

You will remain engaged throughout the entire project lifecycle—from sales to commissioning and eventually supporting the Service department. With your wealth of knowledge, you will also serve as a resource for your direct colleagues.

The activities encompass both new construction and retrofitting of existing installations in the maritime and industrial sectors. From tugboats to small dredging vessels, The client provides system integration services and designs and delivers complete drives and machinery packages. They excel in providing turnkey solutions (design, construction of cabinets) that they ship globally to shipyards, overseeing their installation on-site.

• Act as a technical advisor to our sales department, regularly creating pre-engineering packages based on client specifications.
• Conduct pre-engineering in close collaboration with one or more of your direct colleagues based on specifications and requirements. You oversee detailed engineering by colleagues or handle it yourself.
• Manage one or more drafters.
• Maintain contact with certification bodies and ensure designs comply with regulations.
•  Specify necessary materials and coordinate with the procurement department.
• Work closely with project leaders on planning, change orders, and reporting.
• Provide support and create work packages for our executing departments, workshop, field service, and service team.

• Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to safety.

• Extensive experience in the maritime sector with a degree in Electrical Engineering preferred.
• Knowledge and experience in switchboard design, system integration, interfacing, and software for alarm and power management systems.
• Proficiency in Eplan P8 and AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with regulations such as Bureau Veritas, Lloyds, and Es-trin.
• Valid driver's license (Class B) for client visits.
• Willingness to travel internationally when required.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
