As the Head of Human Resources, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing the global HR strategy, aligned with Orffa's business goals. You will lead initiatives in talent development, learning and development, and organizational growth across the international operations. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be a key strategic partner and connector within the organization, fostering a vibrant and inclusive company culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive global HR strategy to attract, retain, and nurture top talent.
- Organizational Development: Lead efforts in organizational design, workforce planning, performance management and talent acquisition.
- Advisory Role: Partner with senior leadership to provide strategic HR insights on major business decisions and organizational changes.
- Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure adherence to employment laws and HR best practices in all operating regions.
- Employee Experience: Cultivate a positive and inclusive company culture that emphasizes diversity, equity, and employee engagement.
- HR Operations: Oversee global HR operations including HRIS, payroll, training, and employee communications.
- Team Development: Manage and develop a high-performing HR team (2 FTE)
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize HR data and analytics to inform decisions and drive continuous improvement.

Besides an attractive salary (100K-140K OTE) Orffa offers a non-contributory pension and 29 vacation days (based on full-time employment). They have a very attractive location in the outskirts of Breda and offer flexible working hours and a telecommuting policy to provide flexibility to their employees regarding start and end times to support the work-life balance.
- Educational Background: Bachelor/Master’s Degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources.
- Experience: At least 10 years’ experience in general HR and minimum 3 years of progressive HR leadership experience in an international context.
- Business Acumen: Strong ability to align HR initiatives with business goals.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication, influencing, and collaboration skills across diverse cultures.
- Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis and using HR metrics to drive results.
- Professionalism: High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of (international) labor laws and HR best practices.
- Languages: Fluent in Dutch and English; additional languages are a plus.
- Travel: 10-25% international travel.
- Location: currently living in The Netherlands and experience with Dutch labor laws.
