The Sales Support Engineer plays a pivotal role in the organization of AAF, providing essential sales support to the European sales team, agents, and distributors. This includes delivering product information, equipping the team with marketing tools, and generating accurate quotations.

Beyond this, you are responsible for meticulously analyzing customer requirements and technical specifications, to optimize the technical solution on offer and give product recommendations. A colleague will work with you to create product drawings and REVIT files that contribute to the designs. The Sales Support Engineer may implement design changes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs, as the role also involves cost analysis.

The Sales Support Engineer participates in the preparation of promotional materials too. Managing sourcing, procurement, and inspection of goods, along with site visits during delivery, installation, or start-up, further contribute to this multifaceted role. Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers, consultants, and contractors is the key to your success. You work from the Amsterdam office and report to the VP Filtration Technology.

Solutions, which are able to make a difference in answering to today’s challenges with respect to environment and human health.

The comprehensive product and service portfolio comprises a complete range of filters for both solid particles and gaseous molecular substances, based on which a customized clean air solution can be provided. All products are designed and tested according to the latest filtration standards.

Dedicated technical support is offered from the HVAC (Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning) design stage to installation and on-site monitoring. The organisation is working hard to become the most innovative market leader. To reach this goal AAF is hiring talented people. For the Amsterdam office we are currently looking for a inquisitive Sales Support Engineer.

AAF offers a competitive annual salary between 60-75k, depending on your skills and expertise. Additionally, the benefits package includes a commuting allowance, a pension plan, and a cafeteria plan with some nice benefits. On top of that you'll have a minimum of 24 days off, as well as 8 ATV (Additional Time Off) days. In this role your social skills help you to work closely with the sales team, the AAF factories / suppliers and the clients that you work with. You are resourceful and like to think of solutions for the challenges and obstacles you come across.

Your profile:

  • College/university degree in (mechanical) engineering, technology or equivalent technical discipline (Masters degree is a plus)
  • Minimum of 4-5 years related work experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment;
  • Strong customer service skills;
  • Sales and marketing experience is a plus;
  • Good working experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
  • English minimum at B2 level (company language);
  • EU Work permit and Preferably speaking Dutch
