Team-Lead Senior Technician/Project Manager

We are looking for a Team-Lead Senior Technicians or Project Manager to join our dynamic and high performing operations team. A small and engaged team of four (4) Senior Technicians working in for days shift pattern On/Off in the office and in the field. This role will be based in our Lemmer office. The primary responsibility of the role is for guiding / coaching and supporting the local team. The role will report into the Local Site Managers and Operational Project Manager in the team.

What are my responsibilities?

  • You are responsible for day-to-day offshore operations and reporting into the local Service Manager. The role will involve both technical (with support of the ST-s) and nontechnical activities. Technician and Customer management will play an integral part of the day-to-day role. Accountable for providing technical, safety and leadership competence at a local level the role will support windfarm availability whilst executing planned maintenance.
  • Set objectives and deliver agreed results that have direct impact within the job area. It is expected to make sure technical facts, practices, etc. are presented to the internal and external stakeholders.
  • Check for and identify problems to update or modify existing working methods within own function.

Some of your key tasks will include but not be limited to:

  • Drive the standards, expectations, guidelines and culture to achieve an incident and injury free project execution in alignment with a clear safety mindset.
  • Execute project strategy in accordance with project management standards through stakeholder engagement within the organizational processes, previous lessons learned, operational efficiencies and in alignment with Business Objectives and customer expectations.
  • Management of customer relationship through effective communication plan and escalation process to ensure project requirements and expectations are met.

What you need to make a difference:

  • At least 10 years of technical working experience.
  • At least 6 years of on-site wind farm experience.
  • At least 4 years of experience as a Troubleshooter.
  • At least 2 years of experience with HV works (wind turbines or elsewhere).
  • An electrical education or equivalent experience.
  • A strong understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • An aptitude for learning new IT systems.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Living within commuting distance of Lemmer.
  • In possession of a currently valid working visa.
