Do you want to work as a system architect on state-of-the-art technology? Then read on quickly!
The basis of the projects are in the mechanics, but it is the electrical systems that bring everything to life. The energy going to actuators often needs to be precisely measured, and it is essential that the current does not interfere with the environment, especially with sensitive sensors. As a System Architect, you bear ultimate responsibility for the electrical design of a system or product. This means that you are able to assess whether the chosen components, including specially developed electronic subsystems, can collectively fulfill the intended functionality. In your role as System Architect, you not only work closely with the implementation of the control system, but you also have an understanding of the overall lines of the software required. You regularly collaborate with embedded software engineers and apply 'model based system engineering' using advanced tools.
The Mechatronics department consists of specialists in disciplines such as mechanics, electronics, (opto)physics and (embedded) software. They play a crucial role in the development of systems used in sectors such as semiconductors, healthcare and industrial printing. Several mechatronics engineers take charge of technical aspects within the development process in projects. The department works closely with customers to specify a system design and translates this into technical solutions by discipline, or into detailed procurement specifications for suppliers and co-developers. This involves the use of advanced design tools such as NX, Teamcenter, MathWorks, 20-SIM, Zemax and Altium. 'Model Based System Engineering' is used as much as possible in the product development process, while advanced control engineering is central to many projects.
In your daily work you will encounter the following:
- A wide range of multidisciplinary high-tech projects
- Scope to come up with innovative and creative solutions
- Product development from idea to operational product
- International collaboration with customers and sister companies
- Diversity in technologies, markets and projects, which makes for varied tasks
- Direct cooperation with customers and partners
- Personal commitment and expertise in cooperation with highly trained technical specialists in the fields of physics, mechanics, electrical/electronics and software.
Our client develops and manufactures state-of-the-art technology for top organizations within international high-tech industries. Examples include lithography machines, electron microscopes, smart home automation systems or electric self-charging cars. Our client sets the bar high and often achieves the (almost) impossible. They employ teams of enthusiastic electronics, software, mechanics, mechatronics and mathematics specialists with mostly academic backgrounds.
YER Technology offers you the possibility to join as Engineering Professional and to combine challenging assignments with extensive application and career guidance.
The following conditions are applicable:
- Attractive salary according to the standards of our client
- 33 holidays per year and the option to buy more holidays
- A temporary or permanent contract with YER for 32-40 hours per week
- The possibility to join (y)our client directly after one year
- Travel expense reimbursement
