In this role you will have the following duties and responsibilities:
- As a Lead Engineer Structural, you are a valued member of one of our dynamic project teams responsible for bringing our yachts to life.
- Reporting to the Engineering Coordinator, you leverage your specialized technical knowledge to review and discuss Project Development information and delineate work during the pre-building phase. The Lead Engineer focuses on a single technical discipline, encompassing construction, outfit, systems, piping, electrical, and interior.
- Throughout the engineering process, you ensure the quality of engineering work, overseeing the correct interfacing and integration of all data with other disciplines. This includes timely delivery of accurate plan drawings and technical specifications in accordance with the Building Specification and relevant standards, codes, and regulations. You review and approve engineering documentation, ensuring completeness of scope, and take corrective action as needed to address complex technical issues, monitoring progress to ensure high-quality output.
- You organize and coordinate work activities to achieve project goals on time, fostering collaborative relationships with our Partners and identifying potential synergies based on your expertise and mutual respect.

- Higher Vocational Education or Secondary Vocational Education with relevant work experience (mbo+) in the respective discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience, preferably in the maritime or yacht building industry.
- Demonstrate competencies in decisiveness, persuasiveness, and customer orientation.
- Possess a holistic view of the entire process and an ability to understand the big picture.
- Be a proud and passionate technical professional with a strong desire for continuous learning.
- Proactively approach problem-solving with a proactive mindset.
- In-depth knowledge and experience within your technical specialization.
- Proficient in MS Office applications, AutoCAD, and/or Rhinoceros.
- Good command of both written and spoken English.
