Our approach


If you plan to work for a Dutch employer, your YER consultant will notify us immediately. We then handle all of the official documents, such as the IND (Immigration and Naturalization Service) application. Depending on your needs, we can also help out with other practical matters such as housing, a bank account, insurance, a school for your children, handy tips and addresses, and more.

The minute you land at Schiphol Airport, your contact person will meet you to take you to your new home. We make sure you can move in right away and don’t have to stay temporarily in a hotel or AirBnB apartment.

We are also here for you if you need assistance during your time in the Netherlands. Suppose you want to move or buy a house, take a language class or find out which opportunities for advancement are available to you. We can also help you find solutions to these issues and help you on your way.

Your consultant immediately informs us of your arrival. You schedule a meeting with your assigned contact person to make sure your relocation is as smooth as possible.

We want to know all your requirements and explain our relocation services: assistance with immigration and naturalization, finding a property, water and power supply, OV-chip cards…

Arrival at the airport

Your contact person is there to welcome you and escorts you to your new home. At this point, everything mentioned in Step 2 has essentially been taken care of.

Official documents and bank account

The day after you land - or as soon as possible - you have appointments to obtain your citizen service number (BSN) and residence permit and open a bank account.

The relocation process can take around 6-8 weeks.

Since YER is a sponsor at the IND, we will for sure apply for the permit.

YER offers assistance in finding a suitable house together with you. Our goal is to make sure that you move in immediately as soon as you arrive in the Netherlands. We can visit the accommodation on behalf of you, share a video or we can have a videocall.

YER can also apply for the permits of your family. 

YER will schedule the appointment for these formalities.
