You will play a vital role in developing software solutions for advanced metrology equipment, collaborating closely with our global research network.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software for next-generation metrology equipment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software with hardware systems
- Implement and optimize algorithms for precision measurement to support research activities
- Integration of development algorithms to machine languages for CNC centers and robotic platforms
- Develop software that understands the dynamics of mechatronics systems
- Create user-friendly interfaces for software applications
- Contribute to the development and refinement of software architecture and design
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality software delivery
- Document software designs and processes

Must-have
- Previous experience with C++, C#, and Python
- 8+ years of work experience
- Familiarity with software development methodologies and best practices
- Strong understanding of machine languages and CNC centers
- Ability to build user-friendly UIs
Knowledge and Experience in
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink
- Knowledge of precision engineering and metrology
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, Azure DevOps)
- Experience working with robotic platforms
- Understanding of the dynamics of complex engineering systems like mechatronics and control systems
Educational Background
- BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related engineering field
