Are you ready to embark on a journey with Howden, enabling the energy transition as part of a leading global engineering powerhouse dedicated to revolutionizing air and gas handling products? You'll be at the helm of Howdens mission-critical projects.
In this newly created role of Manager Projects you'll be accountable for Howdens new build project portfolio performance and lead the project management and planning team, driving customer contract execution to new heights.
Further, you will:
- Lead the project management and planning team (10 FTE), ensuring flawless execution of customer
- contracts
- Hit targets outlined in the Annual Operating Plan by implementing data-driven forecasting for sales and cost-to-complete
- Maintain an unwavering focus on customer satisfaction, on-time delivery, quality, and cost efficiency throughout project lifecycles
- Develop the skills and competencies of your team to foster a high-performance culture
- Continuously refine project management processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Mitigate risks through proactive identification and management of commercial, contractual, financial, and technical challenges
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement, driving both process and team enhancements to elevate customer satisfaction

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or equivalent
- Extensive experience in project management of large capital goods preferably in the oil & gas industry and and large-scale contracts (>10M EUR)
- Proven leadership experience with a knack for developing and motivating teams
- Change management expertise, guiding teams through organizational shifts
- Strong stakeholder management skills, adept at managing expectations and commitments
- Full proficiency in the English language to navigate in an international business environment
- Project Management qualification (Prince 2, PMP, or equivalent) preferred
- Stellar communication skills, fostering relationships and building a collaborative culture
- Proactive mindset with a customer-centric approach
- Team player with a self-starting attitude and strong analytical skills
- Willingness to occasionally travel
